Scalp Massage Stimulate Hair Growth

Do Scalp Massages really stimulate new hair growth?
Do they?
I’ve heard that doing it daily will generate results within a couple months, but to me it sounds like bullsh*t.
And I’m asking if it generates “new” hair growth, not the effectiveness of growth of the hair that you already have.
