Friends with Benefits becoming more?
I need some kind of clear definition of where I stand with my friends with benefits, but I can’t bring my self to ask him directly, so I’ve come here for some opinions. We’ve been friends for over a year, and I consider him one of my best friends. After about 6 months, we started sleeping with each other. We’ve never discussed what it is we are, but now its been almost a year since we’ve actually been sleeping together and I’m confused. We don’t JUST sleep together. We go out and do things. Even with his friends. In front of his friends, he’ll hold my hand or kiss me, rub my back, etc. In the car, he’ll ALWAYS put his hand on my leg while he’s driving ( I know it’s lame but its only something boyfriends have done.) We text EVERY single day, literally not one day passes where we don’t talk, and because of that I’m almost positive he isn’t seeing other people. He’ll also text things like “my sweet pea” or “my ladybug”, everytime with “my”. What does this all mean?
All of that means that you two are dating, y’all just never went through the usual will you be my girlfriend type of thing. If you are really unsure just ask at some point to fill the dead air if he considers the two of you a couple. He is a guy it won’t hurt his feelings if you ask, and from the way it sounds he will say that he does consider the two of you a couple.
