Aching back during pregnancy?
I have been seeing a Chiropractor for 3 years for lower back and neck pain and chronic headaches but now that I am pregnant he cannot adjust my lower back. I do understand the reasons for this but I have heard that my lower back is going to feel strain anyways from the weight of my torso while I am expecting. So… My question is what can I do to ease some of the pain? My back gets really tight and knotted. Should I try massage?
Get a Homedics massage machine, with heat. It helped me a lot with my first baby. I had the most painful back aches.
Check the position of hte baby with your doc. Don’t want to scare you, but in my case the baby’s back was against mine, his movements went straight into my spine, and his birth was “back labor”, where I didn’t feel a single contraction in the front, but all were on my back… I could not even lay down on my back during labor!
