Skin Problem on palms of 6yo?

The palm of my 6 year old son’s hands feel like he has been doing physical labor since he was born! They are dry and callassed like the heals of my feet get in the summer. They are cracked and peeling in thick layers! I am trying to use Curel and massage oils to put moisture back into his skin. What can be causing this? Any suggestions as to treatment? Does he need an exfoliant for the dead skin? Please help! Any suggestions are welcome!

You need to get him to a dermatologist and find out what is going on.
