Can getting your feet massaged induce labor?

My sister told me that it can induce labor and i shouldnt do it but my feet swell up so bad. and i also had a guy that was giving me a pedicure tell me that i should massage them to get the blood flowing.

LOL! thats so ridiculous. Like the person who was told she couldnt wear jeans while pregnant.

Getting a foot massage is just about the best thing you can do for your pregnant body, especially if theyre swollen.

You should ignore idiotic things like that. People are just ignorant and have all sorts of wives tales and superstitions about everything so they can have something to worry over. Busy bodies.

Go get a good foot rub.
