BA in Dietetics; needs creative, unique wellness job, any help?

Hi all!
I have a Dietetics BS from Michigan State University, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to be a RD. Not only does an internship sound like a drag, but I am not really interested in Western medicine. I’ve been studying herbology since 13 and am looking into going to Massage Therapy school. I’ve studied some Ayurvedic medicine and tried a little Chinese medicine and energy work like reflexology.
I can’t find an interesting, nutrition/wellness job. I want to heal with herbs and counseling. If I need more schooling, that’s fine with me; but what degree is that?
I need to make a living. I need a holistic job! Help!

Best thing you can do is open your own herb shop and offer health consultations. When I’m done with my Masters in Herbalism I’ll be offering consultations and we’ll be adding herbs to our product line.

Working for yourself is really the best way to go if you can manage it. Otherwise you’re looking at a job at GNC, or maybe an independently run herb shop.

Good luck to you.
