Leg Cramps, lasting for 4 days+?
Basically, sometimes while I am sleeping I wake up with like leg muscle spasms.. Usually the next day the muscle will be a bit stiff but after the day it’s fine. I had one about 4 days ago, and I have not been able to straighten my foot since without it hurting too much. I’ve been limping around for like 4 days now. It gets better with heat, however the second I sit down it cramps back up.. Should I go see a doctor? Any suggestions on how to get rid of it without one? I have tried massaging it, tried stretching lightly, tried to wlak normally on it.
i have poor blood circulation in my legs and restless leg syndrome and it sounds like you could have one or both of those here are some things that may relieve your symptoms.
•Avoid or limit alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine for several hours before bedtime.
•Take medications (prescription and nonprescription) only as directed.
•Get some exercise every day.
•Avoid eating a heavy meal close to bedtime.
•Maintain a regular sleep schedule.
•Avoid daytime naps.
•Use your bed only for sleeping or sex.
•Try not to use bedtime as worry time.
i see my doctor 3 times a month i would go see one
