foot massage during first trimester
WOrking during pregnancy?

Of course I know most women work while pregnant but I am a server and was wondering if during the first trimester if carrying the trays and walking so much will be harmful. Any helpful tips about the first trimester what to avoid doing/eating to make sure the baby stays happy and healthy! Or maybe I’ll just tell my bf I just need a daily foot massage and all will be well! :) He just might buy it!

Working is fine and you really won’t feel the pain in your feet the first trimester because you don’t have a lot of extra weight on you yet. Try to not carry anything too heavy, because that could be dangerous to the baby. (By too heavy I’m thinking like 30+lbs) Avoid caffeine, fish high in mercury, and medications. Tylenol is now your only drug of choice. Also, if you haven’t already started taking a prenatal vitamin you should start. Walmart has a cheap one ($4 for 100 pills) that has the recommended amount of folic acid in it. Folic acid is important in early pregnancy to help prevent neural tube defects.

Good luck
