Schooling for Massage Therapists in NJ, NY, and PA..?

I live in New Jersey and I am very close in enrolling into Lincoln Tech for Massage Therapy. My sister told me that some people have a hard time getting jobs who’ve gotten certified from Lincoln Tech. So I was wondering for the Massage Therapists out there in the Metropolitan area where you’ve gone to school or if there’s any schools you would reccommend over another.

Getting a job has very little to do with the amount or quality of schooling that you get. It has more to do with who you are and how you view the world. It has to do with how much you put into your learning and how much you participate at school. It has to do with you. It is the same as getting any other job – how much do you want it?

Go to each school and ask to talk to their graduates and their current students. Ask to sit in on a few classes and meet the teachers. Ask the schools themselves how many of their students find jobs and more importantly how many of their students are working in massage 1 year later, 5 years later and even 10 years later. The massage schools are required to collect that data if they are accredited. Most people don’t know to ask that information.
