Can I get a bachelors degree in Massage Therapy in Miami, Florida or is it only a certification?

I want to change my major from finance to become a messuse. So I need to know if there is such a thing as a bachelors in massage therapy or is it just a certification.

There isn’t any bachelors degrees in Massage. It is a certification.

Keep in mind that most massage therapists start their own business so you have to know alot about business and marketing or be willing to learn. It can be very rewarding working with people in a way that can bring people relief from pain.

People who are discouraged with the career usually have something else going on and don’t want to look at it. It is a helping profession so it does tend to have an high likelihood of burnout if you don’t learn to take care of yourself in every aspect – which includes making the money that you need, getting the emotional/mental support that you need as well as the physical requirements. Just like any other career you choose your path and your level of happiness. It is a process just like anything else.
Choosing a career is a process of learning what you like and don’t like so you can continue to find your direction. If you don’t like it you can change or choose to stay in it and be unhappy or if you love it and stay with it and learn it will serve you well.

I have been doing massage for 20 years and find it very rewarding. I am my own boss, set my own hours and work on people who I want to work with. It isn’t easy – but then anything worth it isn’t usually a piece of cake!
