deep tissue massage and bruising
I’m suddenly bruising very easily?

I’ve always been very active in sports and it usually takes a lot for me to be bruised, but lately I’ve noticed a lot more bruises. I have massive, huge bruises all over my back from a deep tissue massage that wasn’t at all painful.

Could I have some sort of vitamin deficiency or something going on?
I’m almost 17 and a vegetarian, but very healthy.

Bruising easily is often a sign of lack of enough iron in your diet (medically known as “iron deficiency anemia”), something that vegetarians commonly suffer from. The site I’m putting as a source has a table on it (you have to scroll down a bit) that lists foods you can eat (keeping your vegetarian diet) that are rich in iron. :) Don’t worry, nothing is probably chronically wrong with you, and you most likely don’t have leukemia.
