My girlfriend is looking for a place to learn reiki healing preferably around Atlanta. She has found a place to learn basic Massage Therapy and wants to add reiki to her repertoire. Anybody know any good reiki schools?
There really aren’t Reiki schools the way there are massage schools. There are individual Reiki masters (like me) who teach small groups.
To find such a person, call or visit local new age/metaphysical/wiccan/health food stores, women’s expos, psychic/new age fairs, etc. If you don’t find one walking around in the flesh, you’ll find cards and flyers.
Also she could ask a person who knows Reiki who he learned from.
She should talk to several different masters to find one who she likes. There are also many kinds of Reiki–she might want to do some research to see if one appeals to her over the rest.
