i need experience in deep tissue. can i just take a ceu course in deep tissue massage or do i need a cirtification
You don’t need to get a certification but if you really want to specialize in an area it could be beneficial.
You need to check with your state board of massage for exact requirements for CEU’s. Some have specific classes and the number of hours that are required. There also may be different CEU requirements if you are an AMTA member or Nationally certified so you need to check and find out what those requirements are too.
